At the center of our earthly existence, where mankind lives in the first physical layer of the Tarot, The Pope is the spiritual heart, or rather: the quintessence of the matter. Without that from which we spring, we wouldn’t be here. What that is, is different for everyone. In the words of the Irish comic Dave Allen: “May your God be with you”.
As representative of our divine purpose on earth, the Pope mirrors the spiritual component that plays a part in every life regardless of religious beliefs. Like Song, it is a language we all speak; albeit to each their own.
The way we ‘resonate’ spiritually is different for everyone. Yet in times of need, joy, love, pleasure or contentment, we often express ourselves in song, from humming to singing out loud. Music is the way of the Soul to express itself. It makes our bodies move, resonates with every cell and brings rhythm to our lives.

The Trump Cards, or archetypes are numbered I through XXI, and are distributed over three layers of seven cards each.
1. the Temporal Body (cards I-VII)
2. the Evolving Soul (cards VIII-XIV)
3. the Eternal Spirit (cards XV-XXI)
The Storyteller is the unique Nil Card, who ‘ignorantly’, without preconceived notions, wanders through the experiences of the other 21 trump cards.
The first layer of the Trump Cards (cards I – VII) is the physical layer, or the ‘experience soul’. This layer mirrors the physical conditions on earth through which we gain life experience.
Every number has a unique energy, and therefore a unique meaning and role in the interpretation of the card, in combination with the color or the archetype.
The 5 is the number of quintessence. The truth often lies in the middle, and to learn what you actually want and can do, you go to the core of the issue with the 5, as there are always more options.
